  • It is required to open a new civil case according to the Mississippi Rules of Civil Procedure. Filer must provide a certified copy of order from other court for subpoena to be produced, along with a subpoena styled in this court.​

  • Must provide a Civil Cover Sheet, Acts of Congress, certified copy of judgment to be enrolled, and last known address of the parties. ​

• Transfer Fee - $85.00 ​

• Appeal from County to Circuit Court, on the record - $85.00 ​

  • Appearance bond and cost bond amounts are set by the lower court. Filer must provide the cost sheet(s) from the lower court.

• Criminal Fines, Fees, & Assessment Payments - Unique to each case. Call the Clerk’s office if you do not know how much you owe.

  • Can NOT be paid over the phone.

  • Can be paid in person with cash (must provide EXACT change) or card. There will be an extra 2.3% fee for payments made by card.

  • Payments can also be sent by mail. Mailed payments must be paid by money order. Include your name and case number on the money order. You may call the Clerk’s office if you do not remember your case number.​​​
